/—/ Herein, we demonstrate that optimized and biorelevant in vitro and ex vivo wound infection and biofilm models offer a convenient approach for the testing of novel antibacterial wound dressings for their antibacterial and antibiofilm properties, allowing one to obtain qualitative and quantitative results. /—/
